Hi all, I am seeking a referral for an experienced Florida civil rights attorney, preferably someone who handles Section 1983 / police misconduct matters in the Miami-Dade / Miami Beach area. The prospective client reports that on March 29, 2026, at about 2:00 a.m., Miami-Dade officers allegedly went to the wrong address, removed him from his apartment in his underwear, detained him in the hallway, and entered the apartment without a warrant and without prior consent. It seems that the potential issues include wrongful-address entry, unlawful detention, and related Fourth Amendment violations.
