Client in Dallas dealing with $2 Mil in Medicare recoupments. Appealed them all ...all way up to an Administrative Law Judge and lost. Appeal to Appeals Council has to be done in 60 days. Need counsel to file with the Appeals Council. The product is for wound care. Provider surgeon thought it was approved by Medicare with CPT Code Q4294 but apparently it was not. Possibly litigation against company that advised client that they could use the product and get reimbursed by Medicare. Must be familiar with Medicare appeals and wound care.
