Good afternoon Listmates, I have a potential client looking to enter into a contract where his current wife is willing to take a small sum in exchange for transferring the title to the home - but the agreement must also confirm that the property will no longer be considered "Marital Property". This is not something I am familiar with. If anyone can refer and attorney who can handle something like this or take something like this... Note, the property is subject to a foreclosure proceeding, but the potential client is going to reinstate. Any guidance is greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Dominick J.
